Airth Castle Wedding Photography
Fun-Filled Weddings at Airth Castle
When you have a groom that's as chilled as Craig and a bride that doesn't stop smiling and laughing all day you have a wedding like this. It was all kind of handed to me on a plate I guess you could say, with all the laughter and emotion flying at me non-stop. It might seem obvious that it's the happiest day of your life but with all the planning and effort that's gone into a wedding day, you could be forgiven for appearing rather apprehensive and nervous. These guys though are a prime example of how to just let loose and relax and let the wedding day happen.
The ceremony had beautiful readings, a few tears and plenty of laughs. Just look at Craig's face as he's pointing at his bride's wedding ring right before they are about to walk down the aisle. They couldn't get enough of each other the whole day and looked like they didn't want the day to end.
I was delighted we had some great light later in the evening to get some creative portraits of the pair. Sure flat light is easier to shoot in and we got great photos of them in that too but anyone that knows me knows I gotta have that contrast and vivid colour in my photos. Its all about the light!
Vanessa and Craig were surrounded by their close friends and family at the beautiful Airth Castle, a stunning venue secluded in the Stirlingshire countryside You have beautiful grounds and stunning views, an easy place to photograph for sure. The Castle dates back to the 14th century and was once owned by the family of Robert the Bruce, pretty cool place to get hitched!
I'm so fortunate to have photographed this wedding and I thank you both again for having me be a part of your wedding day.
Best wishes x
